Introduction
Austyn International is a producer of the control system software and hardware. The company produces intelligent systems for heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting. MICRORISC is focused on research, development, delivering technologies and hi-tech components to electronics manufacturers since 1991. More than a half of the employees work in R&D department. MICRORISC´s customers need to upgrade existing devices in many ways. Development of both electronics hardware and software of the product is done to get a complete new generation of devices. By all means MICRORISC enables future innovation of electronic products.
Solution
Austyn International was using IQRF technology as a system integrator. In the beginning HW was developed by an external company. After some time IQRF DPA protocol turned out to be a better solution and there was a need to prepare a special hardware profile – custom handler. MICRORISC as a company focusing on research, development, and hi-tech components was asked to support Austyn International with HW development. The choice of MICRORISC as a partner was natural as MICRORISC is inventor and developer of the IQRF technology. Therefore to find a new solution was fast, elegant and inexpensive.
Conclusion
There were special functions added and the whole product was optimized to be cost effective. Moreover the “Interoperability certification” of the new product was done. Now it is being promoted at the IQRF Alliance website. All of these services were provided at once and in very short period of time.
