Microchip and Elotec in a marketing cooperation meeting at the IQRF Alliance headquarters

Steve Caldwell, Vice president of Wireless Products Division of Microchip, visited the IQRF Alliance headquarters in the Czech Republic. Microchip and IQRF Alliance representatives agreed on a close cooperation on marketing activities in order to make the IQRF one of the leading technologies for wireless mesh networks. Based on that Microchip has become a sponsor of the IQRF Wireless Challenge II providing 6 pieces of Chipkit unites to competition winners.
A leading Norwegian manufacturer and supplier of security equipment and systems Elotec; has also visited the IQRF Alliance that time and joined the meeting. CEO and his R&D team were provided with a very detailed training how the IQRF could enhance their solutions.
Through more than 20 years in the market, Elotec has developed, sold and installed fire alarms in more than 100,000 buildings, with 55,000 Aspirating Smoke Detectors and more than a million point detectors. Elotec offers a complete range of security systems for commercial buildings, industry, agriculture, listed buildings, apartment buildings and other residences.
